I'm booked in Rosamond Tuesday night and San Luis Obispo on Wednesday night. After seeing the miles I gotta put in on day 1 there is NO WAY I am going to sleep on anything but a mattress on this trip!! My last correspondence with scottly says that there is no one confirmed to grab godzilla at Joshua Tree tomorrow so I'll be leaving at 4am for a 650 mile burn to grab him and head to a shower and bed in Rosamond. Looking forward to meeting up with Mooshie on Wednesday for our lap at Willow Springs and the chance to meet Big Jay in the flesh, then off to San Luis Obispo for another nights sleep before heading towards home on Thursday. Friday I'll meet with MrBreeze and head to Nevada.I like to pride myself in the amount of miles I have put on bikes, but this is just plain nuts. 1,666 miles of bumps before it's over, and all on a bike held together by magic spells and pixie dust. Say a prayer to the SOHC4 gods that I and the bike make it. And if I meet ya on the road, forgive me if I'm a mess Hitting the road in 14hrs:
FYI: scandon is - right now - in the middle of a 650 mile day to save the whole thing from dying in the Mojave Desert...Quote from: scondon on April 25, 2011, 02:26:28 PMI'm booked in Rosamond Tuesday night and San Luis Obispo on Wednesday night.
