the pickup from the hancock end is in the process of deciding a handoff point.  Who / where am I meeting in for the handoff at B (north baltimore)?

Photolar, can you meet SPWG or do we have another rider closer?

I am north of Baltimore.  And I have one furlough day to spend from the Great State of Maryland.  I plan to meet May 22 at High Point park, but probably not carry GZ that day.  I expect GZ may sleep in DC.  I must ask for your gracious participation, where and when is north of Baltimore (RT83, RT95)?

I plan on riding at least a portion of the Hancock leg. I will definitely be at High Point Park. Just need to figure out where along the route I am meeting SPWG.

Bobby, sometimes I don't know my place.  Glenn hasn't spoken for a while. Lancaster is on the maps because it might be the right thing to do.  The team doesn't know what Glenn wants to do.  Should we all send PMs, or should the coordinator do that?

Larry, I will do it unless you would like to see if you can work out something that work for you both. Last I spole to hom, he was having some work issues and had to do a presentation.

You know your place, you are a part of this Team, and we are all riders in this crazy thing,so we are all special. Reach out to Glenn. He is very cool.

I'm not sure which days the ride will be heading my way, but I'd love to meet up if I can get away from work and the wife for a day.

I'm north west of philly, in the phoenixville area.

Also, for anyone who is interested, there is a benefit ride for the boy scouts on May 22. The ride goes out to pocono raceway and includes laps around the track. I'll post details if anyone is interested.

Wow, what great triming for joining this list.  I live in the Toms River, NJ area (halfway up the Jersey shore), and I ride a 1971 CB500K1.  I'd be thrilled to ride a section with you guys.  I would second Lefty337's recommendation to head through the New Hope area.  Beautiful roads up there and to the northeast from there.  Taking 95 would bypass some of the most scenic motorcycling roads our state has to offer.  Actually, I would suggest taking the route much farther west of 95 when heading north if possible.  The upper middle part of our state is not nearly as congested, and the topography/scenery is far more interesting.

Any guesses as to when the tour would reach South Jersey and the Philly area? :)

George as far as dates I am not exactly sure bad storms hitting the oncoming riders. I would ask you register yourself and begin PMing the other riders in your area. You folks know the roads and you can work out the meetup points, etc. You have some good people in your area. In fact the whole damn Team are good people.

Welcome to Team Mid Atlantic George.

Thanks,

I just pulled the dust cover off my 71 and brought her front and center in the garage.  Time to get her up and going pronto.  She hasn't gotten too much running time in a bit but I just threw in a fresh set of plugs, checked the battery, oil, gas, etc and she fired right up.  As usual :).  Over the years, I've taken her on several longer round trips including a few to Wilmington, NC via the Outer Banks, complete with camping gear.  Slept out on the beach on Ocracoke Island after filling my belly with some great seafood.

My ride isn't much of a looker really, but she's got nearly 20,000 miles on her and I put on more than half of them.  Fun bike.

Not sure how far I will be able to travel on the tour.  It sort of depends on the timing, my work schedule, and the actual route through NJ.  We are in a very busy season right now but I will certainly try to get involved.  It's always nice to go visit my young niece and nephew in Princeton anyway.

I can meet him but as the route has changed again I am not sure where.  I could have met him above Baltimore and taken IT to Lewes..Larry

Larry, we eliminated Glenn's stop since he can't make it. You can alter the route as you like. Se what you can work out. This think is coming at us. Once we have the Lizard we have some wiggle room as far as time is concerned.

Assuming D to E is still planned to be from Cape May/Lewis Ferry to Philadelphia, I may well be willing and able to do/join that section and perhaps beyond.  Timing is fairly important for me though.

Feel free to call me.

Hey GS.

GZ is in Indianapolis, IN tonight.  Will be moving into Ohio later this week.

You can track him and see his schedule here:

Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

OldSchool...

Thanks.  After reading the threads, I am embarrassed to admit that I am still unsure who is planning to bring GZ to the Cape May/Lewes Ferry.  SPWG?

Philly550K1,

I may be interested in joining you on the Philly to NYC run.  There are some pretty roads between the two.  Do you have a route in mind?
