Does anyone know will the rear sprocket from a 1978 750K fit a 1978 750F.  Want to change my gearing a bit. Any help will be appreciated.

Do you own both these bikes? If so I would take some time and match them up. I have swapped 500/550 hubs and sprockets no problem. I bet a paycheck they swap.

I believe a 78F uses a 630 chain and has a different final ratio.

Both the 78ks and Fs use a 630 chain.  I do believe that you can swap sprockets between the two but I am not 100% sure.  Keep in mind that used sprockets are a gamble and if you were actually ordering up a new set that you could simply go to sprocket specialist's website and order a rear sprocket in the number of teeth that you desire.  They would likely have the stock specs on their site.  Good luck.

No, I don't have both bikes, the K has the ratio(15 tooth front - 41 tooth rear) that I want to try on my F for fewer RPM on the hi-way.  I am purchasing new sprockets over the internet and want to be sure so I don't have to return them if they are wrong is all.  Thanks for the input.
