Look what Jaffa wants me to buy her

Very low to the ground for the height challenged and quite punchy for a 250. :D
Not sure about that price tag though, $7000 but discounted to $6000.
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Not sure about the Suzuki but Honda makes the 250 Rebel which looks an awful lot like this one. Personally I would go with a Honda engine anyday but any metric bike is good these days.

I'm a bit torn on this as I was raised on a steady diet of Suzi's but have come to respect the Honda in my later years. ;D
I love the Honda Rebel but it is now getting a bit of age on it, this look a like Suzuki is brand spanking and probably a better bike for someone like my Jaffa who doesn't want to be fiddling with it all the time.

Don't look at the Rebel's age as a flaw - look at it as having had plenty of years to iron the bugs out.

That Rebel motor's granddaddy came out with the 1978 CM185T Twinstar motor, and has been around ever since in one form or another.  Nearly bullet proof, IMHO.

Good luck with it, whichever way you go.
