It is finaly ready, Almost
« on: April 30, 2011, 11:28:27 am »
Well it has been since mid January this year since I received my 1974 CB750 Barn Bike. Found it locally by Chance here in lovely Colorado.

Attached is a link to share the progress of the project through today. A couple of odds and ends to wrap up and other than that it is ready to go.

Please see the link for the project photos. This is the first time I have used Photobucket so I hope the link works.

Went from neglected and forgotten, too cared about and plenty of TLC thrown in.

If You can't fix it with a hammer, You've got an electrical problem.

Folks thanks for the thumbs up. It's been 30 plus years since I have built a bike. This was a fun project since almost everything is used and I made a lot of little things that you don't think about until you need to buy it and it doesn't exist. That would be for the big stuff, obviously there are a  lot of little things that are new that just didn't make sense to buy used. Fortunately I have a Motorcycle salvage yard near buy where I get a lot of parts at a reasonable price without shipping.

Retro Rocket you asked about the seat. I found it on eBay from a guy in Cary, North Carolina. It works alright, though I only have about 30 miles on the bike since I got it running so it is tough to say how a day of riding will be.
