SOHC mechanic in Columbia, SC area?

 I was reading a thread the other day and a few of you guys from the Columbia, SC area mentioned a mechanic down that way that really knows the SOHC stuff.
 The conversation made it sound like he has a shop and maybe does some Hi-Po stuff.

 I searched, but can't find that thread now. The conversation was a part of the thread that didn't really have anything to do with the topic or header on the thread.
 If anyone can let me know who this guy is, it would be much appreciated.

 Or was it in NC? I just remember someone mentioning a guy by name and he wasn't too far from me.
