I'm just happy your taking your time to learn how your points work and not just dropping $200 on electornic ignition ...which half the time, those sort of people still can't get to work right!
If I'm being honest, I did contemplate it. I just can't get past molesting a '78 technology that "should" work. I guess that's the purest in me
, plus I really enjoy learning.
Update: just put the 2&3 plate to the center, regapped 2&3 points to .013 (1&4 are at .016, so they are different which I'm guessing is irrelevant). Redid the timing for 2&3 and now it is spot on!! 1&4 are also spot on!!
Thanks to all for the help. I really appreciate it! A wealth of knowledge by folks on this forum. Now on to redoing the carb sync
