My K5 was made in 11/74.  Heck, I'll let it go for half that!  ;D

Well, the good news is this makes the bike you already own worth more, the downside of course is it makes the bike you want to own cost more!  ;)

It looks like a nice bike and provides a fine example of why, imho, stock bikes should be kept stock.

Boy, wouldn't you just love to hit the road with those 35 year-old rock-hard tires! ::)

When looking at ebay auctions, especially ebay motors, it helps to keep in mind that just because somebody bid that much doesn't always mean they actually paid it.  Ebay motors is rife with deadbeat bidders.

The cheap bike era is gone for all but the worst cases I think. You can blame gas prices for a lot of that I think.
