Anybody seen the jacket "House" wears on his show....."House"? Comes on after American Idol.

Just wondering if anybody has noticed it and know who makes it........or would it be a custom job? Looks vintage. Too bad he didnt get an older CB instead of the Repsol.........although its sweet too.

I'd recommend the Olympia Moto Sports Flat Tracker Something-or-other.  Simple and very well made.  We are a dealer now because several people around here have been raving about their products.  After the tour, I have to agree.
Dude- your 8 layers are showing!

I have a Phoenix 4.0 (black) and like it so far.  The open mesh design is good for hot weather but when it is colder out it really doesn't offer any thermal protection, even with the inner liner installed.  The feature that sold me was the face shield pocket.  It is very handy to carry a clear shield around with you in case you get caught out after dark.  You can't even tell that the shield is in the pocket because it is wrapped around your ribs.  The only part of the jacket that I didn't like is that the elbow pads sit too low in the sleeves so they are protecting my lower arm more than my elbows.  It is not uncomfortable but a little annoying.

Wow, that ICON jacket does (did in your case) have alot of patches...

Yeah- waaaaayyyy too many patches.  The stupid thing is, does Hooker Header even make motorcycle parts?  I've heard of them making car headers, but not for motorcycles.  Why they would think a big heart patch that says "I love my Hooker" would be a good thing for my jacket is unknown.  It looks much better without the patches.

I like the Joe Rocket jackets that I saw at my local dealer.  I'm still thinking about using them for leather pants- either that or those jeans that someone posted about, with the built in kevlar..

I rode in today in my Phoenix 3.0 with the liner in.  It was 35 out and I had on a light flannel shirt with a sweatshirt over it.  While the liner does not offer much, if any, thermal protection, it does block the wind effectively.  The flannel and sweatshirt underneath gave me all the thermal protection I needed.  It does get unhandy carrying around the extra layers at times, I'll be glad when the weather settles down.

Well, for one thing.  Joe Rocket isn't a Vanson.  I guess I was really spoiled for owning one for 8 years.  Just got the Twist jacket today via UPS 5 minutes ago and its going back to newenough.com.  Its pretty flimsy as far as leathers are concerned and the sleeves beeing about 5 inches too long don't help either.  It puts the armor below my elbow and makes it dig in nicely.  Oh well..  Great looking jacket though.  I guess leathers are like helmets, you get what you pay for.  Too bad.  I was looking forward to this jacket.

Well, just took the plunge.  I orded a Vanson Mark 2 Cobra.  Should be in next Tuesday or Wed.  I'm stoked...  Fits perfect as Vansons do.  Nice Perforated front that is airtight when the internal flaps are up.  :)  Good for winter and summer
