Topic: Aintree pre-season test day

I couldn't make it to Aintree yesterday due to other commitments. Typical as I got drenched there same time last year!

Just wondered if there were any particularly nice classics having their first outing and so worth going to see at the opening meeting in a couple of weeks? Were any of the TT boys having a shakedown too?

not sure , had to work unfortunately . wonder what condition the track is in this year , the first practice day is usually about finding out where the new bumps are . dont think there would have been many of the big tt names there , they will all be getting ready for the north west

Sorry Nick, you realy must read all the threads, it's no secret
Simon42 offered me a ride on his 836 CB750F in the Aintree Sprint on the 17th July as I had nothing planned between my visits to the States, thanks Simon. 

It sure was nice putting the face to the name and I realy enjoyed the company of you and your son today, hope to see you again at some of the local events, riding or not.

Also need to mention a big congratulations to Andy Hodges (MAX MPH) who flew the SOHC4 flag in a hotley contested 500 classic class on his very nice CB500 cafe racer, he finished 4th in class with some smooth laps, well done Andy.
