And finally, we reach today.
To make this long story short, still no start. Well, these bikes are simple, do you have gas? Do you have spark?
So, do I have gas? open the drain screw for carb 1, no gas. Carb's 2-4, gas.
Pull float bowl 1, no gas. remove float and valve, turn on fuel tap, a dribble of gas, then nothing. I ponder for a bit, then just for the hell of it, I turned the tap to reserve, lo and behold gas. Guess I had used the couple gallons I had put in the tank. Mystery solved, I'm an idiot.
So, I reinstall the float and as I pick up the bowl, I notice the main jet laying in the bottom. Hmm, perhaps that has something to do with my starting issues.
Button it all up, turn on the gas, let the float bowls fill. Turn the key, hit the button, vroom, fires up.
There's more. But I'm tired, so I will wrap it up tomrrow.
