1973 CB 305/4 freshen up.. begins

i got this from my dad hasn't ran in 20 years, should be a fun project.

engine is free, i think i just need to clean the tank and carbs. any thoughts? should i pull the carbs and try to use starter fluid to see if she will fire?

She cleaned up real nice.
I'd clean the carbs and tank. Then do a full tuneup and then see if it will fire up. She will. Mine sat for 25 years and started easily after a full tuneup.

Take a look at your front brakes. Check for leaks. Maybe you could get away with just bleeding in new fluid but I would do a full rebuild on a system that has sat that long. Getting it running is all fun and good but remember that you need to be able to stop too.
