Okay,
So I have finally found my way here after quite some time.
Cliff's the name, maduncle's the forum moniker (long story).
The short version:
Took to riding late in life, first bike was a learner 250 (ZZR) and then I moved on to a 2001 VFR800 (loved it). Two years off and now I am building a 1976 CB750F Supersport into something a bit cafe racer-ish but a bit different.
As a recognition of my steampunk roots, I call my project the 'high tea racer'.
The changes to the bike include:
- Tingate clip on's.
- Steel Dragon brass velocity stacks.
- new 4" headlamp.
- new smaller guages.
- repainted CB750K series tank.
- custom seat pan and upholstery.
- custom left hand side panel cover plate.
- custom leather 'pony express' saddle bags over side cover mounts.
- full alarm system with keyless start
- reconditioned spoke wheels
- new hidden wiring loom.
... and more.
So - here are some photos:

So anyway - this should be done pretty soon, and then I am planning an early model CB750K series rat bike hard tail custom.
Cheers,
Cliff.
