Hello from Nebraska
« on: May 10, 2011, 08:06:41 PM »
Hi guys & gals,
New to the SOHC world. Always wanted one. So the wife bought me a 1973 Flake Orange all original K3.
I have always loved Honda's and wanted a big bike. So, for our 25th anniversary present, she had the bike delivered to our house! (for my approval of course)  :D
Well I love it!
I have restored and built award winning CT70 Honda's for many years and am now getting into the CB world to have some more (hobby) to play with.
This looks like a great site to belong too. So bear with me. I promise to use the search function first! LOL
I am a member and moderator on a CT70 site, so I know the "rules"  :o
I will post up some pics soon, I promise.

Welcome. I just sold a 73 flake orange 750 to a guy in Calif. My favorite color.
Maybe I'll see you around.

Yes- Once in a while. I tend to get bored there pretty quickly though. Trust me, if I ever see your bike somewhere I'll be talking to you.

Where is the CT70 site?  I have had over a dozen of them, down to one keeper now; well almost.

Most of our members over @ Minibikers Proboards  donate parts once a year for a bike giveway to a deserving kid that is either down on his luck, or has been sick or is sick (cancer etc..) One guy builds the bike and then FedEx ships it to the closest member to the deserving receipent, for delivery. The 2011 build is going to a kid in Bennet, Nebraska this year, and the bike has a CornHusker theme this year.
BONUS:::: I get to be the delivery guy! WaHOOOOO!!

The CT70 site I am referring too is    http://minibikers.proboards.com
when you sign up, tell Harry that Brian sent ya!  :)

Could be the "5" post count limit? Some privileges are 'restrained' until you have achieved a min post count. Not sure it is five, but give it a try again after you have five. Other than that, external links are posted by members all the time.
