Bike looks great - just curious as I also have a '78 K that I'll be using the same gauges on, was that gauge bracket something you fabricated or had done?

It was designed by me. Sheet of cardboard, measured, fitted, then used the final template and trimmed out of metal sheet.

This thread makes it look so easy! Very well done.

Thanks. It was tougher than I thought. One thing I realized is patience. Do things right the first time without rushing. I didn't document all the little changes on the bike, multiple trips to the hardware store, sorting out o-ring sizes, losing loose bits, hours of polishing/wire wheeling, going thru a box of bandages and Neosporin etc. For my first build, I'm satisfied of how Ipkiss came out.

After all that, Im already looking at another one to restore/modify for my wife :):):):):):):):)
