What is this "return of the Cafe Racers" of which you speak Cliff, I have Foxtel and am eagerly awaiting seeing what butchery those turkeys come up with in season 2, but so far, nada? Is it back on? Cheers, Terry. ;D

Slight miss quote on my part.

'Return of the Cafe Racers' is a Melbourne based motorcycle blog.

'Cafe Racer' is the TV series, I have season one on DVD, and season two is about to air on TV in the US. The Dime City Cycles website provides plenty of info on the series, as does the 'Do The Ton' blog.

Meanwhile - for a robust discussion on the butchering of good original CB750 stock, check out http://www.bikeexif.com/1969-honda-cb750

Thanks Cliff, that Fuller bike is horrible, nothing on that bike hasn't been done before, so what's the point? Chop up a ratty F2 or any tired old K and I couldn't care less, but chop up a nice clean sandcast to do what everyone else has already done, and you're just a jerk.

That's the good thing about Oz, any K0-K6 in good condition is too expensive for the cafe set to buy and butcher, so the good ones will remain intact for another generation to enjoy. Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

My feelings too mate - if you want to muck around with different bike bits to build your idea of a custom bike, do it with old bike bits, don't destroy a good bike.
