Front Axle cb550

Hi,
I am currently struggling to get the axle out of the front wheel on my cb550 project.Please help me!I need to get the right disc off but cant get it past the speedo assembly on the axle.Do I need to get the axle out or is there a way to get the disc off?

it should just pull through,do you have a dual disc set up?tried tapping it a little?
