hi,
1st i introduce myself,i am from singapore and i own a 1974 honda CB350F and a 1998 cb400f.
Just to check whether U.S have any year 1998 CB400F?becouse singapore only have 10 running around.
The attach photo is my 1998 CB400FOUR.it is a replica of 70's cb400four.

Keep it AND get a real 400F!

What does it go/stop/handle like?

Is this the same as the CB-1 or CB400 "Big One" that we had over here?

SteveD CB500F/_biffta_ : Not much CB400f left in singapore..Cant find any.
_biffta_ : This bike go really fast,stopping also not bad at all and the handle of this bike is really good(after all it's still a 400cc bike).it have the same engine as CB400 "V Tech".

Welcome aboard, that 400f is pretty cool. If they sold it in the US i'd go for it.

I would do it too. There is a distinct lack of small cc bikes in the US and it really sucks.

Marco, I like your CB400F very much, it sounds like it’s fun to ride! but I prefer old bikes like your 350F.
Do you know if you can get fake or real Honda parts in Singapore for the 1977 CB400F.

I do like old bike too but in singapore is really kind of hard to find a 30's old bike(We cant bring any moto bike/car which is more then 3 year old into singapore).So even if find any old bike in singapore, can easy cost up to US5k. As for part, i think have but have to find.Most singporean riding japanese bike.

Anyway what you need?try asking around for you.

Love that 4-pipe 400 it's great.

If they'd had those in the UK at the time I was looking I may have ended up with one... although the reason i didn't go for a CB-1 or Honda Bros would still apply (could only get a ratty old bike for a grand). Still I came home with a near pristine CB350F - couldn't ask for more.

BTW I'll be in singapore on saturday afternoon (22nd) so I'll keep an eye out for you!!

Yes Marco I'Vve tried DSS , the part is discontinued by Honda thought you may have some fake parts in Singapore

Marco, the part I’m looking for is the drain tube from the air filter/engine breather pipe system that connects under the black box the paper air filter fit’s into it connects at the point the yellow arrow indicates, I hope you understand your English is good….thanks for your time

As far as I'm aware we didn't have a 400:4 like yours we had a four cylinder cb1 (Steve D - was this an official import or a grey I'm not sure I know the Honda bros 400 twin was a grey import) but the CB1 wasn't the four pipe 70's 400/4 replica though it's still a nice bike.

Unfortunately I'm only in singapore for one night as a stopover on the way home to the UK after a holiday in Australia and I've already arranged to meet up with a friend from university who I haven't seen for 10 years!! Thanks for the offer though

That's a sweet looking bike. Interesting that they've basically produced a replica 550K with a 400 engine rather than doing the 400 up right with the sweeping headers and the 4-1 pipes of the original 400F. Not sure which I'd like to see more, but I'd definitely be tempted to buy one of these bikes if they were available here in the US.

Hi Marco - I'm at the airport now just about to leave Singapore - gotta love the free internet booths!
Yes my friends took me to Crystal jade la mian in Ngee Ann city. It was FANTASTIC.. absolutely delicious I would recommend it to anyone - the soup dumplings were to die for.

I kept a look out for you but I didn't see your CB400F. There's lots of Honda Shadows here and scooters - and as you say not many big bikes - I guess you don't need them when the island is so small and it takes less than an hour to go round the whole thing!

I like both of your bikes.

When I hunted for a small 4 someone called me and said they had a free
197x cb350F. So I jumped, drove 2 hours and got there to find
a frame, tires and that's about it. Well, at least it was free.

I would buy a 350/400 four if it was sold in the US and came with
four into four pipes.
