need help on a proper price for a BMW R26....

Hey guys... My friend is looking at getting a BMW... It is a 1957 R26. I know nothing about them and he wanted to know if the price was right on it...

The guy selling it wants $2000 for the bike. here are some pictures... does the price sound right on this bike? I for one would never pay that much for an old non running bike... but hey...

A friend paid $1600 for a basket-case R-26 a few years ago...........The Earls and solo seat add value.
