Thanks so much for the tips. will try it out this weekend.

Good luck CB. Let me know if it works for you. I can send you more pics of my set up if you need.

Turned out great, the color combo works very well!  ;D

The new paint re-fresh looks nice (Ayrton Senna inspired theme).  How is she running?

well... i can't say no to a cafe 400F but you do realize that there were like half as many of that year made then there were sandcast K0's right?

That's an interesting statistic.  I didn't realize that.  It's strange that the '77s are the least desirable of the three years with the '75 seemingly being the most coveted.  I like them all, though, and very proud to own one.

This one looks really cool with the wheel and front end swap.  Nicely done.

Well done Gixxer - looking great!  How's the fit of the seat - will it require any frame mods or is it a straight fitment?

Thanks Kwality. I am using the stock seat pan and attaching the seat cowl on it. I had to trim the metal pan in order to fit. See the pics below. These are just a mockup. The tank and seat are the last thing to go on the bike but I could not resist to see how it's gonna look like when it's done.

Mate I love what you've done here with this seat!! Can you please tell me where I can buy that cafe seat from as I've always wanted to keep the seat lock and hinge attached. Awesome build too, love it.
Take it easy mate, JP.

Thanks JP. The seat was from RocCity Cafe. The Daytona model seems to be no longer available. Here is the site:
