Yeah im glad it was just the mirror, the only thing stopping it from being EVERYTHING else was the car parked in front of me, and his bumper. AT first i thought "Maybe the mild wind today blew my 500 lbs bike over," when I went outside the wind was blowing the opposite direction.

Hate when things like this happen. The only thing that saved my bike was the fact that my helmet was on the helmet lock.  Still jacked up my throttle side grip, but it could have been much, much worse.  Just sucks to walk outside and see your pride and joy laying on its side in a pool of gas.  Probably would have knocked the guy out if I'd seen him do it, but in retrospect probably would have regretted it.  C'est la vie, no?

It's pretty ridiculous man. My bike has been hit like 4 times while living here(in chicago) at one time it got knocked over, rear turn signals were broken and my license plate was gone. On top of that I got a ticket for not having a license plate, while it was on the ground. Gotta love the Chicago PD.

years ago i came upon a crowd gathered around a fallen late model bike,an old dear had tried to park in the same spot and knocked it over, fuel was leaking from the filler cap so i stood it back up and went on my way,she seemed worried so i hope she waited for the guy or left a note.

My bike is parked in the garage, on my driveway, our in it's own parking stall at work so I haven't experienced the heartbreak of seeing my baby get knocked down....yet.

You're a good Samaritan Flybox, glad to have you around! I'm in Leavenworth all the time I should look that guy with the green 550 up. My buddy probably knows him.
