Hellooooo From Scotland!

Hi all, finally got round to registering on this great forum! i have been using the info in the topics and FAQs over the past few months while working on my CB550 but now i need help...! will be asking some questions and looking for advice very soon.  :o

Thanks for the welcome guys! Thats the bikes on the left... (can't seem to get my pictures small enough to post? Any advice appreciated). Long history for the bike, its a family hair loom and i am the latest 'lucky' owner lol! I got the bike in npretty poor condition... and it then sat in my garage for about 7 years before i summoned up the guts (and bucks!) to get stuck in. I'll put some more info on the registry.

Sounds kinda like my story.  My '72 CB500, my avatar, was my father-in-law's.  He bought it new in '72.  He is still alive and well, so I can talk to him about the bike anytime and know its not just PO BS.  After having resurrected the bike, I've even let him ride it when he wants to.  Always comes back with a smile on his face.
