Anyone Near New Rochelle, NY?
« on: September 11, 2012, 08:18:34 PM »
Hey, looking to buy a set of nice powdercoated wheels, but the guy wants 50 bucks a wheel to ship... Was wondering if anyone near New Rochelle, NY would be able to pick them up and ship them.

That is if anyone thinks they can ship two wheels for a cb550 with tires and full rear wheel with hub and brake parts for cheaper than 50 a wheel.

That is some Heavy stuff if it is with the tires. Postage is getting expensive, especially to the West Coast. Good old days are gone  :'(   Somebody though may be able to do that for $50-60 for the whole deal ??  Depending on the carrier

Yeah, I figure I buy the wheels regardless, but if I could and save fifty bucks, that'd be cool.

But a $20.00 to the guy who hopefully helps you out would be cool, and he may have to do a lot of work like packaging etc., asking a lot from a guy who knows what a hassle big and heavy things are to ship. Lets see if someone takes your challenge.

I might just be trying to hard, I guess fifty bucks a wheel isn't all that bad for shipping... I might pull the trigger today. I'll post pics if I do.
