I will be glad to meet at QC/ON border. Just a small hitch for me. My daughter is due to birth my first grand child  on July 14th approx. Looking at the current schedule I think our ride will happen before then. Still workin' on the SOHC 4, been on two weeks holiday in Cuba/Mexico. Hard to get back into this work thing. I do have a ride if the 550 doesn't come together in time. Also will contact an ole SOHC 4 buddy and see if he'd be interested...

Thanks Larecords!

Charlevoix418 is the Ride LKeader though QC Provence.  As the date grows near, be sure to connect with him for handoff details.

By the way, Larecords, how far do you want to ride?  Ottawa?  Algonquin?  Toronto?  Beyond?

Thnks again!

I would love to do all Ontario. Just have to see as it gets closer to happening. Have ideas for the route from QC to Algonquin as well.

Thanks Larecords!  I have you on the ride all the way to the breakfast at Port Stanley.  You're more than welcome to continue on into Michigan if you can cross the border!  I'll be at the handoff on the other side of the bridge.

Assuming the bike is back together in time (just finished reassembling the engine!) I will be happy to meet up in Pickering or Toronto, then down thru Port Stanley, and I presume back to Detroit.

I live in the City (T.O.) so I fully expect to meet up with you there. The other option is to head up to Ottawa and meet up there; I think once the bike is running solidly I'll feel more confident moving the date up.

Thanks Wohali!  I added your info the the Rider List.  If you can make the Detroit handoff, then we officially have an unbroken string of riders all the way through Eastern Canada!!  WOOO HOOO!!!

There are a number of stretches where we have only a single rider, so I wouldn't mind it if we beefed up those segments.  Time is growing short!  Time to change the oil and lube the chains!  Kickstands up in only a few weeks!!

Depending on the time/date of the Fredericton to QC run and if you don't mind a Goldwing, (CB550 is not road legal ATM).  Crys and I might be up to the run.  Let me know.

Hey Clark!

Will be GREAT to have you along for the ride!  Operator (Jason) is the go to guy for New Brunswick info.  contact Charlavoix418 (Raynald) for QC.

Brooze,

I've seen NE to NB handoff dates all over the calendar.  Keep an eye on their rider thread for the latest until what time that it becomes "official".

I'm in for the western Ontario leg, maybe meet at Toronto or points south, I need to go find the route map, I haven't looked at it lately.Probably to Windsor, and maybe on to Michigan, maybe a friend will ride along, too.

I am posting in two threads since I am not sure of the difference:

Bike is fine and I am ready. I am monitoring the thread(s). I expect to join the ride somewhere north of Toronto. I think that there was a stop suggested on the east side of Lake Simcoe? I know also that there is a stop over in Pickering. I'll probably head home that night and rejoin somewhere in Toronto and ride to at least Niagara Falls and maybe a bit further west.

So if I read this right, Day 1 is July 2nd.  That means Days 6-8 are Jul 9-11. I'm fine for that; I may have a commitment Jul 12-14 in Toronto that I'd have a hard time getting out of. I'll know more next week. If there's a conflict I'd at least like to do a photo op and ride "it" through at least part of the city after business hours. If there isn't, I can head on for the handoff in Detroit (but won't be continuing to Cycle X - but confirming I have no problems crossing the border.)

Bessie, my bike's running very well, except she's smoking a bit at higher RPMs. Hopefully that will sort the rings set over the next week or two. Assume she's OK for the ride unless I post here saying I'm out...wishful thinking helps :)

The riding days are not necessarily consecutive. If you all wana ride days back to back, then awesome!  But you don't have too. There are two dates we're looking at for Cycle-X. July 16 or July 30. To make the 16th, E. Canada would need to make it to Detroit by the 12th. Then Team Mi would ride consecutive days to Wisconsin.

I know Team North would prefer the 16th if at all possible.
