I got a 350 engine waiting in a warehouse. Im picking it up one of these days.
I think it will need a total rebuild before it is usable.
I was thinking about the upcoming rebuild last night and I has a few things about the engine I could not figure out. After some sleepless hours I stated to google the engine, and found some of the answers. But I still has a question that really buggers me. (and with the engine in storage 200+ km away I cannot take it apart rightaway.
The cam chain runs from a sprocket on the center of the crankshaft to the cam sprocket.
Is that sprocket a part of the camshaft? Or is it attached to the shaft?
