According to track-trace.com, my Morris wheels have hit Canadian shores.  Sitting in customs now, can't wait to see 'em!
Turns out it was better than I thought!

Thanks to voxonda for the sweet hook-ups.

Thank you Phil,

It has taken awhile but surely hope it was worth the wait. Please kee pus informed about the progress of your build.
Do not worry about the width of the rear, most of the times wider is not better.

Cheers, Rob
Better sorry for failing then for the lack of trying.

When you start playing with sizes & don't keep the stock proportions you start messing with rake and trail...but, if you are talking girder front that goes out the window.
Go the hard way on Lesters or the Morris and polish the spokes and black out the part that is normally polished. That would be distintive. Even steel can be polished or brushed then clear sealed to prevent oxidation.

Nice set of wheels and they will make a nice distinctive look. I missed a page when I had posted and didn't see that you made up your mind.  Do you have gold in mind for part of the color scheme?  Guess you can anodize parts to be gold as well...as long as the anodizer has an example to target the color to he should get pretty close.
Got any sketches of what your build is going to look like? Or is it all upstairs?

Understood.

True.  Also doing a new swingarm & conversion to mono-shock.

That would be distinctive.  Not the look I'm going for, but thanks for the suggestion.

FWIW, I'm not a shill for Race Tech - I've just got a thing for good suspension and the RTCE's are the most cost-effective mod for these old damping rod front ends.

It's all upstairs.  I'll get a build thread going next year sometime once work starts in earnest.
