I don't think so- In the "Hell's Angels go to Vietnam" movie I could have sworn I saw a 2 up police bike.

Really, you are going to use movie props as "historical data"?  ;D

I thought I'd seen one before.

The rear seat got replaced with the radio box, (radios weren't small in the 70's).

...And to limit liability for passengers falling off.  ::)

My 76  750 P had cop speedo, triple A boards and a double butt bucket seat..( sometimes/often called King & Queen by Newbs!).
Not sure if it had a diffent seat while in orificeall use.. came from Montreal, was all black.. maybe some Canuck riders from the FaR East would know how it looked while in Service.
I am thinking they are fleet bikes and can be ordered with only some of the P parts..

The "P" model Police bikes come pre built as cop bikes, Honda made them by the thousands and just held them till they got an order, my CB650PZ is only a few numbers from a guy in Europe who is rebuilding one.

I looked at a lot of old pics that stripe is on most of the 70's bikes so i went with that. made it myself. Have some vintage hard bags doing them now.

Awesome looking bike Painters!  And by the stable of ponies showing in your sig, you obviously have the SOHC4 bug!

Are you planning to show some of them at the Gilmore this year?  There's also a group of vintage rice burners that get together each Thursday at the Hudsonville Burger King.  A bit of a ride for me, but I get up there once in a while.  We're also planning on a group ride through the UP to Cycle-X in Wisconsin (a.ka. the Relay Across America, Canada and Beyond.  You may have seen the posts here  ;D).  Let me know if you want in on it!
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

BUMP!

I'm looking for the '77 CB750P7 front hub - the wire-spoke 5-bolt DUAL-disc front hub.

Surely there's gotta be an organization or website for POLICE bike OWNERS?

There have several great dedicated one-model forums & four-ums related to the SAND-CAST, The "Sand-Cast Owners ONLY Group" etc.

Surely there's gotta be something for the CB750P?

Painters cafe, very nice job.  I saw a CB160 or was it a CB or CA92?  It had an integrated speedo and the light switch in the bucket with an indicator lamp.  Don't remember if it was round...don't think so,or at least not that large.
If you could find the correct bars and the sirens it would be even cooler.  Most places in US will not allow you to have functional red and blue light.
Would be nice to pick up a nice shape modern Chippy retired police bike.  Looked like a great touring bike setup if civilianized.  Plenty quick, nimble and comfortable.
The places that gobble them up in huge lots tend to corner the market when they go to auction.
You used to see the big Kawasaki police bikes, but most have gone to the BMW, at least the CHP did...

Hush, always liked your 650P, do you still ride it a lot?

Any of ya'll CB750P guys have a spare front hub from '77-'78 CB750P7 kicking around? I'm keen to upgrade it with CB1100RB 296mm dished rotors - and to use it on my "CB900K0 Bol Bomber" and/or the DOHC-4 "Featherweight" for my daughter - This would be the ultimate period upgrade, imho - for CB750P7 or '79-'82 CB750K-zabc, '75-'77 GL1000, etc etc. This HUB would be about the only straightforward way of going about this mod - Anything else and it just gets super complicated and expectation of keeping the weight savings just goes downhill all the way..... But yeah - if ANYBODY'S got this hub, imho the thing should be moulded & reproduced in a decent batch size, to ensure anybody could do the same mod IF they see fit!

Anybody got the hub? ANYBODY?

-Sigh.
