Well I psyched to find this site, I have a '95 4Runner and Toyota forums have been an unbelievable resource, I'm sure this will prove much the same. So not sure if it was rising gas prices or midlife crisis but this spring I decided to buy a motorcycle. I haven't ridden since the late nineties and then it was a Katana. So I started looking around for what I could afford and what would suit my riding preferences. After weeks of chasing bikes on Craigslist I finally posted what I wanted, I wanted to be over the tank! And so began my introduction to Cafe' styled bikes and CB750's in particular. It seemed I could find one in my price range and then modify it to my riding style, sorry to any traditionalist out there, if it helps the bike I bought ('78 CB750F) had already been modified. It's been lowered which helps this vertically challenged individual reach the ground flat footed, pipes shortened, fiberglass gone, upgraded steering bearings, larger sprocket and other small mods. I plan on transforming this nice clean bike into a Cafe' Racer with clubmans, rearsets, single seat. Anyway it's all I do now, especially since it won't stop raining here in VT. I surf looking for parts, ideas, tips, and gear. I've gone from 0 to 60 in a matter of weeks. I a totally into my new CB and the machine it can become. I'm looking forward to talking with like minded riders who share my new found passion. Thanks for an amzing site and technical resource.
Respect
