I just feel bad for all the people who quit their jobs and blew all their money assuming the end was coming.

Now it all makes sense!  They're the ones who've been blowing 10's of thousands on those old CB's on fleaBay here lately!  ???

I see we're all still here and me and Travis did complete our ride in North Georgia yesterday.   We endured two road blocks set up by the GHP and it a good thing we had all of our paper work on us because they were towing bike and cars away if you didn't! That was my first outing on my bike in the mountains and on some of those hairpins I had to ease into them like the old man that I am because that bike is heavy and I'm not experienced enough to be trying to hit those curves like those hot shots on the Ducatis and Ninjas. It's going to be a while before I'm ready to tame the Dragon! Photos to follow soon.

Sounds kind of like what our grandfathers fought against in WWII... :-\ :-\

Maybe they missed it by a day.  A tornado just ripped through Minneapolis, missing me by about 6 blocks. :o  Did not even have any heavy wind at my house but a large swath of the city got ripped up.

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

No worries mate, thanks for the heads up, that bad eh? Well it's too cold to go outside and investigate right now anyway, so I'll have another scotch and check out Armageddon when I go out to the shed for a smoke later. Cheers, Terry.   ;D

I'm still trying to figure things out.  Did Vern and I ride so fast that we got ahead of the all the pending doom, and are now in some alternate universe or did it just not happen?  Hmmm so many unanswered questions.

"we're not a cult or anything", and pity poor school teacher Sandy Kline weeping and wailing in the video. I wouldn't want her teaching my children ANYTHING.

All this makes atheism seem like the logical choice.
