straight trough exaust /carb rejet

I have rebuilt motor (new cam, main bearings , valves , gaskets, seals ect.. ) on 1982 cb650 sohc , rebuilt the carbs with stock carb kits after sonic cleaning and have put on a set of straight through slip on mufflers now wondering if I have to rejet carb? runs excellent at idle but crapy after that, have tryed adjusting idle adjustment screw but no luck any info would be welcomed thanks

Think of an engine as an over glorified air pump with a carburetor. Any change that that increases or decreases the flow of air changes the fuel mixture. The majority of the time, you will have to rejet.

Splitt is right, if you have more going out the back you need more going in the front.
