Topic: F2 cafe - relocating electrics

Hi all,
I am trying to relacting the electrics on the bike because I am building a caferacer.
I have put the battery in the middle of the frame next to the new oil tank, all the other electric parts are going under the seat.
The problem I have is that I don't know where to put the starter solenoid. Can I also put it under the seat? Than I have to put longer cables between the battery and the starter.  Is this possible or must the solenoid be with the battery as close as possible?

You can put it any where you want. Don't go down in wire size. Usually the longer the run you need to increase the wire size I don't think the bike is long enough for this to be a concern.
