Out of which material are the brake disc centers?
« on: July 08, 2011, 02:34:53 AM »
The brake discs are of a cb500 , and i ask if they need to be repainted, or if i can glasbeadblast them and then leave them in nice silver?
Or are they steel and will rust like heel once stripped down?

aluminium alloy, you can have them bead blasted then paint them,if you leave them raw they will corrode and gather a white crust.

They are Aluminum alloy.. can be polished, if you want to clean them up once in a while.
