Newbie with Bucket of rust 78 750F
« on: May 22, 2011, 11:00:39 PM »
Hello from southern California!  Long time rider who started off on a Honda 175 in 1970.  I've been on many other types of bikes before I took this restoration on.  I'll show my progress on in the Restoration forum.  My first question is my Frame says 1978 CB750F but my engine block says CB750E.  Does that mean it's not the original engine?  Does the frame and engine typically match the type?  I'm the 5th owner as far as I can tell.  I'm looking forward to this project!

Thanks Larry, I got it figured out.  It's a CB 750 F3 Super Sport.
