Can you really "feel" the less weight under the seat ?  You have very sensitive buttocks  ;D  :o

Good one sometimes we tend to go overboard on saving a gram or two.

And paying close attention to one already installed is not going to be useful. There are no warning signs that you will pick up on before it goes Boom.

whatever we'll see
I got one bike with the old style bat and the one with the new. Trust me you feel the heavier battery in a lean.

OR, there are subtle differences in your tires and suspension that make you think you feel the difference. Have you had identical fuel levels in the tanks when going around the exact same corner in the exact same line at the exact same speed?
There are many variables that you could be attributing to the battery.

No 2 bikes are completely the same though. It could also just be that wishful thinking that there is a difference. Have a friend of yours subject you to a blind test and see what happens.

straddle your bike shift it from side to side then take the battery out and do that and see if you don't feel it differant.

I usually feel the difference after a big cra#$%p. Which is what this is all starting to sound like ;D. Heck I'm so old I can't tell when my tire is 10# low ;) Well I do have to give it more gas seems to bog it down.
All kidding aside I could not enjoy the ride thinking about that battery blowing up under my ass. I'm sure TT will test in a safe way.

There may be a difference but there is a difference between moving and still. But like I said, unless you can recreate the conditions, you could be wrong. Hell, 1 side of the road will feel different from the other side. Especially when you add rain grooves.
