Hot diggity dog, they're sitting at customs for a week now. Good heavens. I hope I won't have to pay a lot of import taxes.

Elan, did you blow up already? How's tricks?

Trying to get this oil pump primed. Engine is turning over nicely. The machinist I used did a great job. It was through ebay, about $150 shipped.  Also waiting for float bowl screws. Hopefully this weekend!

Hold on, I'm confused. You found the machinist on ebay? If so, do explain!

Just got my order! ;D Was shipped out next day & rec'd in Florida 8 days later. :)
Compared 1 piston to a Honda 550 original. Other than sharp edges here & there, the wrist pin hole has some minor scrapes & gouges inside!
I"m not impressed with this, does it matter?
I don't think so, the steel wrist pin will polish it & the gouge will help oil passage but NEW shouldn't have careless machining to an engine wear surface. >:(

...otherwise looks good for price :-\

Good lord, here they are again! I'm trying to get a combined shipping to the Netherlands, if he agrees, I'm in! So excited; my new engine rebuild is really coming together nicely!

I have just ordered two sets and they charge $47.50 for shipping to Netherlands. Not a big save, but the set is very cheap in euros: 188 euros incl. shipping for two sets. Hopefully will the package slip through the customs, without charging the high taxes.

Hi
Just one word of caution on his products tho'......
I ordered a couple of sets of front brake pucks for the early 750's. They don't fit!
I tried sanding the paint off....still no go.
You will have to grind them down to make them fit .

I got crusin'mge 350/400 carb kits cheap  and ordered a set of the big bore 400f pistons.  They look like good stuff, but it will be a while before I install anything.

Mitsuo seems like good people.

I have some of those, too: you must also rough-file the surface of those pucks, or they will not seat in for many, many miles, braking poorly. They are made by EBC and remarketed. Not real good brake pucks... :(

Don't expect it: I just paid 108euro's worth of tax. Ordered 4 sets and some other stuff. Customs always have been tight with me, unfortunately.

Pistons look beautiful though.

That's unfortunately my experience too with packages from Japan. Packages from the US will sometimes slip through the customs. We will see. Despite the tax, it's still an interesting deal

Yea. Now to find a shop that won't charge 100+ euro per piston. Do you know of an adress, Lecram?

After some thought, I've decided to sell my kit to fund some work on my dirt bike.  The kit is obviously brand new just as I got it in the mail.  Would someone be interested in buying it for $110 (including shipping in the U.S.)?  That would save you the $28 in shipping you would have to pay if purchasing on Ebay.

I know I'll be regretting this in a year or two when I decide to rebuild my engine, but oh well.  ;)

It's almost a miracle, but it slipped through the customs and they didn't charge taxes. So finally I paid only 187 euros for two sets, including head gasket. That's very cheap.

I'm guessing all those who had purchased them aren't replying because they probably died when these welded themselves to the cylinder sleeves, locked up the rear tire and got shot off the road.  :o

my eBay watch list shows 46 kits left of his second listing of them since I bought mine in early June.
This listing is ending in 2 hrs, I guess he'll relist them.
