I know the cylinder wall thickness is thin after an 836 kit,so i was wondering if it worth all the troubles and $$$ to replace the sleeves? .Cyclex sell thicker sleeves to solve this problem.

No problem at all with the sleeves. Thicker sleeves if you want 915 kit that brings better rods.....
This eBay 836 kit is not high CR, no additional heat that need an oil cooler.

You don't need thicker sleeves. That is why the 836 is so popular. It is the last step before you get radical

Well, technically you can go one more step and use CycleX's 849 kit, but that's another .5mm you need to take your sleeves out to, and they're already pretty thin with a 4mm overbore to 836cc. Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

It is very temptating to order this 836 piston kit + some extra head gaskets + extra ring kits + clutch kit(s) early and later versions + cable kits + all other kind of CB750 stuff when its so cheap.
Then buy another CB750 to put the parts in.
I'm going to become a hoarder, right?

I hope they will sell 4-4 early CB750 OEM style for low price....

I am looking at this kit for the possibility of using in a 650 big bore engine. Yes, it will require resleeving.
If anybody could provide the missing specs for the pistons. I would greatly appreciate it.

Take your rings to him and let him see them. Cast iron rings use different grit from chrome (or moly) rings, etc. The angle of hone is also different, so they say.

Oh, sorry, I was looking at a zipper...
Actually, I'm on the road, not getting reliable Internet at the motels. I stayed in one that didn't have working service last night. :(

Don't get too fine with the grit, unless the ring (top ring) is chrome. Then 320 is OK. Otherwise, use 2nn- something. The hatch angle is said to be 'important' when I've talked with ASME engineers before, but I think it is 'important' for them to argue amongst themselves about? No one had given me a definitive answer re: what angle is best at what grit for which ring type? As with most of the ME types I work with, they can answer any question with one or two variables, but having three seems to make them vibrate and lock in place. :D

They would HATE to try to program the machines they then build...they just make ME do that part. :o

It would appear these may be coming back after being off ebay for a while...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/69-77-HONDA-CB750K-836cc-65mm-BIGBORE-PISTONS-KIT-W-HEAD-GASKET-CI-CB750KBB-/141538985630?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item20f461869e&vxp=mtr

Also this thread has been sleeping a while any new reports / reviews on these? people running them? experiences?

I had a chance to weigh and measure a set of them up tonight and i was quite satisfied:
- 4 pistons within 2 grams of each other
- 4 pistons within 0.0002" of each other

I'm 'in'.

Excellent info guys, especially since that's my intended project bike engine cc. As an aside, been trying to source a donor bike and/or motor here in Oz and abroad. Looking most likely to pick up a motor (and frame) from USA.

I wouldnt worry i bet the guy is just feeling out the market.  he is probably looking to increase his prices a bit, notice the thread tittle is "$110" last kits were $120.   the next cheapest kit is the Cycle X  2nd (0.50) and 4th (1.0) Over Piston Kits @ $199.95 or for big bore, Cycle X 849 kit @ $249.95  i bet they come back at $130 or $140 this year

F2, F3 had higher piston domes, deeper combustion chambers in head. Compression will be lower with this piston kit. I think this is discussed earlier in this thread.
