Dyna Coil number for 76 CB550K
« on: May 26, 2011, 01:34:54 PM »
Just double checking the proper Dynatek 5 ohm coils before I order. Is it DC8-1? Thanks.

$130 for both coils. Haven't done the wires yet so can't answer that.

Looks tight bambu! Thanks for the answer.

I think the wires are extra around $20. I really like the idea of being able to change the wires. What was Honda thinking? Plug wires can wear out after 30 or so years.

Curious about the difference between the copper core and the suppression core wires. Same price.

My understanding of the suppression core is to reduce or cancel electrical interference on more modern electronics like a radio or digital ignition system by lowering the resistance across the wire to the plug. With these older bikes I would assume that the copper cores are more than adequate.

Cable is $17. Z1 is also a good place. Quick shipping.
