difference in gas cap seals?
« on: May 26, 2011, 02:21:44 PM »
ive been looking around and i find NOS gas cap gaskets but im not sure if there product description are correct?

some say 74-76 and other say 76-78....

does the 76 have some magical gas tank that can use both or is it the same gasket 74-78 and the descriptions are just bunk?

I think the seal changed when they started using locking gas caps, not sure where I picked that up.  I "think" the locking cap seal is a bit thicker than the thumb release type.
