quick drive chain tension question
« on: May 27, 2011, 02:13:25 PM »
measuring the "slack" is done from both directions... like pulling the chain down then back up and measuring the total distance? (rider sitting on the bike of course) also how important is it to change your tension for two-up ridding? im not going that far and I know that the driver weight affects it a bit...

thanks for the help!

i guess its a stupid question.. obviously it is likely the total movement high to low, and that is what ive been going off of.

Additional weight of a passenger or cargo should be able to be compensated for by the pre-load adjustment of the rear shocks, especially if the additional weight is only an occasional thing.
