K7----change needle setting without taking carbs off?

I can't imagine I don't remember this since I just rebuilt my carbs  :o can i change the needle setting without pulling the carbs on my 1977 750? Thanks.

Nope you gotta pull em.  Becuse the rod that runs through each body is gonna prevent you from getting the slide out.  The arm hooked to the slide is also hooked to that rod, so your gonna have to take em apart to change needle position.

2 weeks ago I pulled the slide out of my #4 cylinder to verify where I set the clip position and I did not have to pull them. I cannot remember if there was enough room to do the inner carbs. BE CAREFUL THOUGH (i dropped a small circlip in the process)
I will be having to pull my carbs later this week to adjust my clip position as well (I think I may pull them and do it on the bench/not much more work)
