73 cl350 Scrambler

Removed everything on the bike to paint reassembled and now can't get spark to the plugs. Check all my wiring and have power to the electric starter, could the old coils have been damaged in the tear down? They are the only thing I haven't replaced yet?

Maybe you pulled loose the black/white striped wires going to the cables from the ignition switch?  Just grasping at straws here...

If you painted the frame, check that the condenser pack has a good ground. May need to scrape some paint off under the condenser mounting bracket or run a separate ground wire.

Also could be something as simple as dirty points, but the ground contact mentioned is a likely problem...Larry

It's funny you guys mention those two things because I have replaced the points and condenser. I found in the points there was a small plastic washer missing inside where the blue wire connects, and the blue wire coming off the condenser was grounding out.

That would permanently ground that set of points and prevent the cylinder from firing.
Regarding the question you sent me by PM,  That green wire with the female connector on it is an unused ground. Make up a ground wire for the coil bracket, and plug it into that female ground to eliminate condenser grounding issues. Check your PMs.

Check the right handlebar switch (black/white) wire to the kill switch & then check
the switch itself.
