Replacing fork seals with air assist
« on: May 29, 2011, 02:50:51 PM »
Hi, I'm new.
I have a 81 CB750 Custom and the fork seals are leaking. It has some sort of front air assist and I'm not sure how to replace fork seals with that. It has a air valve on the top of the fork and a hose going to the other fork. I've replaced regular forks seals before. Can anyone give me advice on how to replace my fork seals? Thanks.

If an admin will move you post to the "Other Bikes" forum I'm pretty sure someone will pitch in and give you a hand.  This particular forum is pretty much SOHC only and your 81 is a DOHC.   You may also want to join and post you question to the DOHC forum which is at  http://www.cb750c.com/

Good luck.

Replace seals as normal, just let all the air out first
