Ok, Hear me out, rearview cameras
« on: May 31, 2011, 11:29:07 PM »
Yet again, the half cafe gets a tech upgrade. Wanting to ditch the goofy profile i get with one stock mirror, and another stock, but mounted on an 80s yamaha MC, I thought, cameras! so i traded some junk on CL for a small netbook (actually the things got a 10.1 in screen) to run 2  to 3 cameras. i had to turn the screen around, like one of those convertable laptops of yesteryear, so it would fit in the space provided. my only issue is at night, its really dark. so soon i will post my night vsion rearview cameras, after i make my IR led array. if you have interest, you can PM me for more detail in all the modding and wiring. still to come; LED tachometer and Led lean angle meter......

Shouldn't you be driving the motorcycle instead of playing with all of those gadjets?

That's awesome. I would love to see the progress on it.

New and innovative ideas are what makes america great, don't listen to detractors, it sounds you have some sweet ideas brewing.

How were thinking of doing a lean angle indicator? It'd be cool to have it all be centrally featured on the display
Cheers!

Next you'll be quoting "Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads!"

Sweet idea, i'm curious if the screen at night will be bright enough to mess with your vision?
