CB750F2 Inlet Rubbers.
« on: May 31, 2011, 02:16:11 PM »
Does anyone know where i can buy carb inlet rubbers (carb boots) for my 78 CB750F2?. Ive bought the last remaining boots for carbs 2 and 3, but they are unobtainable for 1 and 4 in the UK. The Honda part Nos. are 16211410000 and 16214410000.
Alternatively, has anybody successfully repaired a split boot?

Dealing with the same issue (i think). all 4 intake manifolds are dry-rotted and will need to be replaced soon. Can't seem to find new ones and am curious about methods to repair or extend their life. When the engine is on, and i spray the intake manifolds with carb cleaner, the engine revs faster for a few seconds. I have compression issues and need to at least take care of the intake manifolds before I can even tell if other things are problems... right?
Any advice would be appreciated  :D
