Team Central additional event?
« on: May 16, 2011, 07:41:11 PM »
Now that we have met, lets keep our eye out for an event somewhere we can attend. If you guys are up for a long ride, The national motorcycle museum in Anamosa Ia. would be a good destination. I wonder if the tour is coming near there on the way back west?

Maybe just a drag race at Rt 66 raceway in Joliet when my team is there, July 30 is the next points date. I'll bring the cooler.

Sounds fun to me. But I am never riding anywhere in the rain again unless it's at least 80 degrees out.

I'll vote for that too! I was told there were snow flurries in Aurora Il. as we passed south of there on the way home Sunday. I really can't remember being that cold and wet. We raced the rain all the way home. I had to adjust my chain on the road and just as I finished the rain caught us again. Nothing like Jerry's pictures though, our weather just felt like hail.
 Thanks again, for your ride.

There's a MC Classics event at the museum in a couple weeks I believe.

June 5th, 10am to 4pm at the Airline History Museum, at the Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport in Kansas City. I've seen some pics on the 'net and there are all sorts of bikes there!
