11/69 KO badge colors?

OK resto experts.  What are the correct colors on the side cover badges on a candy gold 1969 KO? Mine are gold and it seems odd that they would use gold as a badge color when the side covers are also gold.  I want them to be correct.  Thanks!

I think the side badges and the tank stripes are black. I have a 4/70 750KO candy blue and mine are gold.

Gold badges on Candy Red and Candy Blue-Green bikes.

Black badges on Candy Gold bikes.

 Gold tanks came out after # 19,000 something..
 Seem to be commonly run on earlier bikes. some did buy the new parts cuz they liked the color..
