i hear ya hush,my next door neighbour had a mid 90s suzy gsx 750,hes not mechanical,,nice enough old fast bike,he had it for 15 years,it had a rich problem and like you ,,it was off with the fairings,a while later i found the carbs,,anyway they have aluminium needle jets and two of them had worn about half way through making them have a flat edge which you could see,like a matchstick square,,two new needles later,sync proved good, and put it all back together,he reckoned it went better after that,,he sold it shortly after and now has a new 650 vstrom,,that 750 had a heap of kays on it and it was always serviced late,,like really overdue,,good engine and trans in those.
