Topic: double disk conversion

Some questions about the double disk conversion on a 73 cb750. Does the year of cb500 speedo drive plate matter. What makes this drive plate different from the stock 750 plate? What secures the drive plate to the hub as, according to the directions, the drive plate goes on after the disk is bolted to the hub? Just like to know before I tear into this project.
