CB650 Cam Sprocket
« on: June 08, 2011, 09:24:30 AM »
I'll be installing the cam again in my bike and while attaching the sprocket I noticed it is not perfectly symmetrical. I don't remember the way I installed it last time and wonder if it is important which side I install it on, or if the teeth are going to line up the exact same either way.

This is an image I found in google but its the exact same.

It's not symetrical so you can get the cam in! If it's important which way round it fits it will say so in the Honda workshop manual
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!
