After the right sandpapers and the the Mothers legendary metal polish, it look great!

Nice polish work but a wheel and polishing compound will come up without the cloudiness. That said, Chrome is Chrome, not polished aluminum.

I like polished aluminum over chrome. The aluminum is deeper than chrome which looks brash.
